H2O & SUSTAINABILITY INNOVATION HUB innovation ecosystem with Sérgio Santos Pereira (Partner, Head of Tax) and Maria João Vaz (Head of Sustainability Services) as interlocutors.
Mazars, an international audit, tax and consultancy firm, operates through an integrated partnership, working as a single team to deliver exceptional, tailored services. At the end of 2022, Mazars launched a new line of services focused on Sustainability, in the national market.
Led by Maria João Vaz (Head of Sustainability Services), the new line is in line with the company's global strategy and aims to create value for customers and partners, supporting the implementation of measures that contribute to better performance through a more sustainable path.
The objective of this Sustainability line consists of: “(...)help current and future customers to position their companies in order to be better for the World. (...) help create and enhance responsible and valuable businesses, where ESG factors are part of companies’ strategies.”
It is by sharing this vision regarding Sustainability that Mazars is strategically aligned in the H2O & Sustainability Innovation HUB ecosystem. The ecosystem already has several partners, including Faro City Council, Minsait-Indra, Four Seasons Fairways – Quinta do Lago, INDAQUA, PremiValor Consulting, etc., as well as other partners in the process of formalizing partnerships.
Based on a collaborative ecosystem made up of universities, research centers, institutions, companies, STARTUPS, researchers and entrepreneurs, the H2O & Sustainability Innovation HUB's mission is to drive the creation of sustainable innovative solutions that address the global challenges of water scarcity, climate change, sustainability, environmental conservation and economic and social impact on organizations and citizens.
In this context, the H2O & Sustainability Summit 2023 will take place on the 19th and 20th of October 2023.
This summit will promote collaboration, exchange of scientific and technical knowledge and facilitate business development between the main players, namely companies/organizations, STARTUPS, Municipalities, Universities and Research Centers from different countries.
The event consists of a conference, with presentations by experts in the areas of water, sustainability (energy efficiency and renewable energy), circular economy and sustainable tourism and also with a Fair Event, in which companies, STARTUPS, Municipalities, etc. will have the opportunity to publicize your products, services and innovative solutions, in the areas mentioned above.
